Refrigerated Containers & Refrigeration Conversions in Florida

If you need refrigerated space, start with what you will store and the conditions those goods require. Tell us how you will load, use and maintain the container at your property. We can work through the enclosure, refrigeration equipment, power and access with you as part of a custom conversion.

Define the contents and required conditions

List the goods, packaging and quantity you need to hold. Send any storage requirements from the product owner, supplier or your operating procedures. Tell us whether you need chilled storage, frozen storage or another specified condition.

Explain the routine too. Will stock arrive at the required temperature? How often will new loads come in, and how long will you keep them inside? Those details help establish what you need the refrigeration system to do.

Plan loading and the interior arrangement

Describe how you will move goods in and out: by hand, on carts, from shelving or on pallets. Send measurements for the loads and handling equipment. Tell us the opening you need and how often you expect to open the doors each day.

Ask how to leave room for the equipment and air movement in your layout. Check the storage space you will actually have once insulation, refrigeration components and any other interior work are taken into account.

Resolve power and placement early

Tell us what electrical supply you have and where you want the container. Before arranging site work, get the chosen equipment's power and connection requirements. Agree who will provide and check the connection.

Show the space around the container, the delivery approach and which way the doors should face. Allow for loading, servicing and any drainage the installation needs. If you depend on continuous operation, bring your plan for a power interruption into the conversation.

Discuss the enclosure and operating requirements

Ask which container condition, insulation, doors and interior finishes fit what you need to store. Include the cleaning, drainage and handling requirements you need to meet in your operation.

An insulated enclosure and working refrigeration equipment are separate parts of the purchase. Check exactly which equipment is included, its condition and what work must be done before you can put the space into use.

Make handover and ongoing operation clear

Ask how the agreed operating conditions will be checked at handover and what instructions you will receive. Decide who will monitor the system and look after maintenance. You may also need to consider alarms, records or other controls for your operation.

For food service or other controlled uses, work through product-specific and local requirements with the appropriate professionals. Make sure your quote distinguishes the container work from the operating arrangements and approvals you need to handle.

What to include in your refrigeration enquiry

  • What you will store, the packaging, quantity and required conditions.
  • How often you will load it, the goods' arrival conditions and your proposed layout.
  • Your power supply and what you need to happen during an interruption.
  • Your location, access photographs and preferred container size.
  • Cleaning, monitoring, servicing and other operating requirements you need to meet.

A few things worth knowing

Is refrigeration the same as adding air conditioning?

They need different plans. For refrigerated storage, tell us the conditions your goods require and how you will handle them. A request for general comfort cooling does not provide enough information.

Can refrigeration be part of a food-service conversion?

Yes. Include refrigeration when you describe the food-service plans. Work through the equipment, layout, utilities, cleaning and requirements that apply to your operation.

Will any available power connection work?

Check your supply against the exact equipment specifications. The team and the appropriate electrical professional should resolve the connection requirements before setup is scheduled.

How do I confirm current options and pricing?

Send us the project details. Ask for the container and equipment condition, operating specifications, included work, delivery arrangements and current availability to be set out in your quote.
